ITnova is seeking a certified
Security System Integrator - Lenel OnGuard Certified to provide onsite support for Port Authority security systems, including LenelS2 OnGuard, Intellicene Symphia, Genetec, Avigilon, and more. Responsibilities include system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and ensuring optimal performance in collaboration with administrators and vendors. Required certifications / Training certification: Symphia and/or Lenel.
Responsibilities
- Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
- Work individually and in teams to diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
- Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.).
- Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
- Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Perform pre-deployment end to end testing of all system modifications and upgrades.
- Perform on site installations of software upgrades and system modifications.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Certification in Lenel OnGuard, Intellicene Symphia VMS, BriefCam, Genetec Security Center, Avigilon Control Center, and / or Vidsys Enterprise.
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or five years’ experience with physical security systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to write technical documentation tailored to a varied audience.
- Working knowledge of Windows server and client hardware.
- Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
- Excellent problem solving, analytic, and time management skills.
- Ability to pass criminal background check.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desired
- SQL Server: Ability to install, perform basic administrative functions and create scripts.
- Crystal Reports: Ability to create reports for SQL databases.
- Microsoft certification: Windows and/or SQL.
- Working knowledge of Windows PowerShel.
Work Hours
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday on-site.
