A&E Regional Manager - NY/NJ
Job Description
Our continued growth and success lead us to have an open position for an
A&E Regional Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage relationships between the professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specify products for inclusion into their design of security systems.
What you’ll do here as Architect & Engineer Regional Manager?
- Cultivate and manage business relationships with the A&E Program members
- Proactively maintain a consistent cadence of in-person meetings with new and existing A&E Program members
- Build the network of A&E Program members by leveraging programs and outreach initiatives driven from the organization
- Serve as a technical liaison between Axis Communications and the A&E Program members
- Work cohesively with the Manager, A&E Program regarding program initiatives and providing recommendations for improvement
- Supports security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices, security conferences and local/national trade shows to maintain relationships with security consultants
- Assist the A&E Program Manager with the planning and implementation of annual A&E events
- Maintain database of A&E Program members within region, using CRM and Salesforce
- Consistently create opportunities for the program’s growth through training, education and business relationship management
- Work with the Regional Sales Managers to provide excellent customer service
- Develop and complete monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner
- Develop and implement a regional business strategy for the A&E Community
- Provide technical support and design application assistance to the A&E Program Members.
- Leverage Axis tools such as AXIS Site Designer and Autodesk plugins to increase Axis mindshare and specification of security projects within the A&E community
- Continue learning about Axis technology, innovations and products

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
- 5-10 years past experience in the following:
- Security integration and security consulting
- Hardware installation and technical sales experience
- System design and application

- Expected travel time for this position is approximately 50% annually.
- Travel region: Northeast US including New York State and New Jersey. Regular visits to New York City, Newark NJ, Boston, Buffalo, & Albany areas.
- Ideal candidate location is in or around New York City.
Pay range:
The approximate pay range for this location and position is $140-155K OTE (80%=Base and 20%=Commission). Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
