The role of the Technology Solutions Support Specialist is the design, qualification, presentation and facilitation of Securitas Technical Solutions sales, which include turn-key video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection solutions.

- Works with internal and external customers to define their security technology requirements and introduce specific technologies from within the Securitas Technical Solutions product line which meet those requirements.
- Assists the field in pricing and designing Integrated Guarding Solutions based on turn-key offerings.
- Assists the field in reviewing Integrated Guarding Solutions provided by the Solutions Engineers before presentation to internal and external clients to ensure accuracy.
- Assists in drafting proposals and statements of work for the solutions to be offered.
- May be required to present and review solution(s) with the external customer.
- Researches specific technology questions or topics and conducts both formal and informal presentations on various technologies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications At Entry
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Education/Experience:
- B.S. degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. At least 1 year of previous experience in a Pre-Sales/Solution Architect role with a Value Added Reseller (VAR) and/or a Technology Manufacturer. Professional Certifications or training (Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, etc) preferred.
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, Visio and Smartsheet

Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands:
