Off / On-Premise Area Manager – NY Metro
FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt

Scope & General Purpose: As an Area Manager, you are responsible for managing and expanding the business within off and on-premise accounts in the greater New York City area. The primary focus is building and maintaining relationships with key accounts to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.

Schedule: Full Time, approximately 40 hours per week
Management Structure: Reports to Madison Skornicka, Regional Manager – NY/GA
Off / On-Premise Management Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key off and on-premise accounts
- Collaborate with account managers and bartenders to ensure the proper placement and promotion of products on beverage menus and shelves
- Drive sales growth by leveraging marketing tools, brand education, and product training for bar staff
- Organize and execute tastings, events, and promotions to increase brand awareness and customer engagement in off and on-premise channels
- Work closely with local distributors to ensure timely deliveries and product availability at off and on-premise accounts
General Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track sales performance, report on key metrics, and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments to sales strategies
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the brand’s product offerings, features, and benefits.
- Support and lead training sessions for distributor sales teams and off/on-premise staff on product knowledge and effective selling techniques
- Create customized pricing strategies to enhance sales across all accounts
- Create incentive programs for distributors each year to drive sales
- Train and educate Sales Representatives on Maison Ferrand products; joining General Sales Meetings to educate and/or review the portfolio of products
- Conduct “Work Withs” to visit key accounts and give sales speeches to the Sales Representatives
- Assist with ordering process, ensuring orders are placed on time either with France or within the United States to keep inventory in stock
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years sales and account management experience, ideally within the alcohol, beverage, or consumer goods industries
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- High integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth
- Passion for the alcohol/beverage industry, with a deep understanding of market trends and consumer preferences
- Must be based in the NY Metro area
- Has a reliable vehicle for travel to accounts within region
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
- Occasional lifting of product cases (up to 30 pounds).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for events and promotions.
