A leading security engineering company is seeking an Embedded Security Specialist to manage and support security systems across multiple sites. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional with experience in system implementation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration. Working collaboratively, the new team member will enhance security operations by maintaining and configuring systems while resolving technical issues, supporting projects, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct the programming, testing, and commissioning of the physical security systems, including access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems as needed.
- Liaise with programmers for any additional programming needs for project works, testing, and commissioning of the physical security systems, including access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems as needed and when required.
- Work directly with managers and clients to ensure any site changes or additions are tested and commissioned in line with BAU activities.
- Interact with all ticketing systems to lodge, track, and escalate security systems issues and requests from report to resolution.
- Coordinate with site leads, corporate IT, and other relevant teams to drive resolution for all tickets.
- Interface and lead coordination efforts with the client IT/ DT (Digital Technology) team for all required IT hardware, cabling, and network needs.
- Configure new devices onto existing systems and liaise for additional support and triage as needed.
- Conduct special projects and duties as assigned by the client managers.
- Evaluate physical security controls to provide guidance on site security posture in comparison to global Security standards and propose remediation for security vulnerabilities or other areas where the site could benefit from technological improvements.
- Provide project management oversight and play the role of liaison between site focal points.
- Support initial project scoping for real estate and facilities-led decision points.
- Oversee all security technology application administration and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site project assessments and analysis for standard compliance by site, and integrator installation standards.
- Evaluate use cases for security technology solutions for end customers, working with integrators to define and recommend NIST / DFARS-compliant solutions.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in physical security applications such as CCURE 9000 access control, Genetec/FLIR/AXIS camera surveillance, and Aiphone intercom system
- Recognized industry certifications and accreditations in the relevant security systems preferred
- Extensive experience in performing initial triage and troubleshooting of the security systems to reach timely resolution of on-site issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and interact across a matrix environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience/skill in communicating across different channels and with various levels of business leadership
- Experience and in-depth functionality knowledge of security technologies inclusive of access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance systems required
- Experience in project management in one of the functional areas of physical security, facilities, digital technologies, etc. is preferred
- High ethical standards and excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy, with the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to self-direct and motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to stay detail-oriented and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance
- Required to pass security screening procedures
