BearCom's Rental business provides wireless products and solutions for small and large events and venues, along with long term and short term rentals into vertical markets for both new and existing customers. In this position, you will be responsible for selling the use of Rental Wireless products such as two-way radios, push to talk phones, and video solutions. Examples of current customers and targets are large sporting event holders, concerts, conferences, as well as industrial establishments or individuals. Some of our clients are Live Nation, Academy Awards, Major League Baseball, Coachella, Meeting Planners and many more. Your main responsibilities are to drive business and grow new accounts by leveraging your prospecting and networking skills to grow BearComs rental business.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Makes outbound follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
- Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers and provide the necessary solutions to overcome challenges, objections etc.
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships both internally as well as externally.
- Prepares reports of business transactions.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Investigates and resolve customer problems with deliveries
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in outbound phone sales and/or business development with a track record and solid work tenure.
- Must have proficient computer skills using MS Office and ability to learn new programs using our JDE software.
- Ability to build successful relationships and close business.
- Must be passionate about learning wireless products and features and applying that knowledge to events business to provide excellent sales and service.
- Previous products sales experience preferred, maintaining and building business base via CRM along with the ability to develop relationships for residual business sales.
- College degree a plus.
- Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
- Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check.
