We are seeking a Security Systems Inside Support Specialist to manage, support, and optimize security system operations. This role includes system health monitoring, programming, upgrades, integrations, and compliance oversight to ensure seamless security infrastructure functionality. Job Title: Security Systems Inside Support Specialist (Commercial)
Project Types: Schools, Municipalities, Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use Retail, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee security system health, perform programming, manage integrations, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Deploy system updates, maintain user profiles, conduct periodic audits, and manage security system data.
- Ensure security infrastructure aligns with department policies and industry best practices.
- Develop training programs, create user documentation, and provide ongoing technical support.
- Work closely with project teams, vendors, and contractors to optimize system performance and service agreements.
- Apply camera licensing, manage VMS applications, and stay up to date with advancing technologies in security integration.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years in security systems administration, IT infrastructure, or security technology support.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR
- Associate’s degree with 3+ years of corporate-level project management OR
- High school diploma with 5+ years of corporate security systems management experience.
- Experience with Genetec, S2/Lenel, RS2, Verkada, Gallagher, Milestone, Hanwha, Avigilon security systems.
- Background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or low-voltage security solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of network technology, system integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with VMS, access control, and security software platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
