Crimpco Security is hiring for an Installation Technician in their Windsor Mill, MD location.

Position Summary: The Installation Technician will be responsible for performing skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of fire, security, access control, CCTV, and related systems and components.

Duties & Responsibilities

Installation, service, and inspection of CCTV, access control, fire and intrusion systems
System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
Provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
Other duties as assigned

Education & Required Skills

High School Diploma/GED
Ability to install, inspect, program, or service security systems, access control, CCTV or other relevant low voltage systems
Knowledge of Brivo, Open Eye, DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight preferred
NICET certification preferred
Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both alone and in group settings
A strong work ethic and professional appearance
Strong Time Management Skills
Must be able to work at heights and lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work with power tools
Must read and speak English
Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
Must either have or be able to obtain State of Maryland Security Technician's license

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
