AI/ML Engineer (Image Generation)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop cutting-edge AI solutions for our advanced sensor technology. In this role, you will tackle complex machine learning challenges, contribute to groundbreaking research, and help redefine the future of medical diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI algorithms to enhance sensor accuracy and functionality.
- Apply generative AI and deep learning techniques to biomedical signals, including but not limited to time series and 2D/3D imaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning into medical devices.
- Optimize models for efficient deployment on GPUs and edge computing devices.
- Leverage signal processing and machine learning techniques to solve complex prediction problems.
Must Have:
- Ph.D. in relevant field or 5+ years of experience in machine learning.
- Strong expertise in generative AI/ML models for 2D-3D data (e.g., diffusion models, encoder-decoder architectures, variational autoencoders).
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of deep learning, data structures, and algorithm optimization.
- Experience integrating signal processing with machine learning for predictive modeling.
Nice to Have:
- Deep expertise in signal and image processing algorithms, particularly for microwave detection and compressed sensing.
- Experience with multimodal prediction and cross-modal image generation (e.g., generating images from time-series signals).
- Background in time-domain radar signal processing for electromagnetic signals.
- Hands-on experience optimizing algorithms for GPUs or edge computing devices.
- Experience working in fast-paced prototyping and multidisciplinary team environments.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and AI applications in medical devices.
- Ability to develop data analysis algorithms and software tools for spectral data interpretation.

Compensation Structure
Estimated $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary for full-time employees after completing an initial "exploratory period." (Note: exploratory period compensation will likely be $4,000-$7,000/month, depending on work experience)
Actual salary contingent on experience and performance.
Our compensation package for full-time employees includes direct equity grants, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and, for all applicable roles, bonus plans.
