Immediate need for a talented Network Security Engineer. This is a Direct Hire (FTE) opportunity and is in Montgomery, AL. Please review the job description below and apply ASAP if you are interested.
Required Skills/ Experience:
- Someone who understands infrastructure, and how the network is set up. Either a person who started in network and went to into security afterwards or vice versa.
- Minimum of 8+ years of IT relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience plus at least 4+ years of experience performing Security Engineering / Planning Operations
- We are looking for someone to come in and make suggestions – heavy on the endpoint security and/or network expertise
- Endpoint solutions like cloudtype are helpful
Preferred skills/experience:
- Architect design. Someone who can adjust and identify where/how we need to do things without impacting production. Expert at fire IPSec tunnels.
- Experience in medium to complex computing environments, with advanced knowledge in security technologies and services## Hands-on experience with at least two or more of the following Enterprise Security Technologies:
Network Intrusion Prevention / Detection
Virtual Private Networks; SSL, IPSec and Site-to-Site
Enterprise Class Stateful Inspection Firewalls
Network Access Controls in context to Identity management
Windows Server OS & Desktop OS
Network Packet Inspection
Directory Services including LDAP, AD and Secure Authentication Technologies
