We are seeking a Product Manager (PM) who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and with Unboxed clients to design high-level solutions that meet business needs.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Contribute to comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation, to oversee the entire product/feature development lifecycle
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Lead and motivate team through all stages of the development process, including idea generation, requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing, and release
- Solution Design and Requirements Documentation
- Design and propose high-level solutions that meet business needs while considering technical feasibility, scalability, performance, security, and other critical aspects
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and document detailed user/functional requirements and wireframes that meet project objectives. Serve as the Product Owner on the Scrum team by writing detailed user stories and collaborating to obtain Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for new features and enhancements
- Roadmap Development and Prioritization
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product's future direction, features, and enhancements. This involves prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, competition and business priorities.
- Leverage Jira Product Discovery tool to make data-informed decisions based on Effort and Impact to define and prioritize items for the product roadmap
- Collect user and client feedback in the form of meetings, usability tests, focus groups, and surveys to make data-informed recommendations for product features
- Provide regular progress updates on roadmap initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders
- Communication and Issue Resolution:
- Communicate efficiently, effectively, and proactively with clients and internal teams to drive understanding of and alignment on product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve technical, functional, and customer service issues in partnership with internal Unboxed teams
- Backlog Management and Product Documentation:
- Maintain an adequately refined and prioritized backlog of features, defects, and initiatives that have the potential to deliver value for Unboxed and external clients
- Create and maintain release and other product documentation

- Ability to motivate and inspire people and teams towards achieving project goals.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong facilitation skills, both verbal and written communication
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing initiatives and keen attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Product Manager (PM), Associate Product Manager (APM), Product Owner (PO), Business Analyst (BA), or equivalent in technology with a strong track record of successful project delivery
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
