Senior Manager of Supply Planning (8168)
Position Summary:
- The Senior Manager of Supply Planning will develop and maintain supply plans for one of the business units.
- Focus on balancing cost optimization, quality, and service.
- Work with both internal (e.g., manufacturing plants, distribution) and external (e.g., suppliers, co-manufacturers) stakeholders to ensure supply meets demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop near and long-term supply plans.
- Balance inventories against KPIs like customer service and obsolescence.
- Perform root cause analysis for supply and inventory imbalances.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, and Distribution.
- Communicate supply constraints and develop plans to resolve issues.
- Lead product lifecycle management for new and end-of-life products.
- Track and report supply chain performance metrics.
- Lead supply planning improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with capacity modeling systems like JDE.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred:
- 5+ years of food industry experience.
- Experience using JDE and Tableau or similar data analysis tools.
