The Role:
The DAM is responsible for managing Axis partners (distributors) in the Nordics to drive growth and support regional sales across Finland, Danmark and Norway.
Some key responsibilities:
- Account management and daily contact with distributors.
- Large account management to create value for customers and Axis.
- Target setting, KPI tracking, and evaluation of distributors.
- Managing stock levels, marketing activities, and educating distributors on products and processes.
- Evaluating performance and making strategic decisions with the regional sales manager.
- Traveling to our distributors across the Nordics (This is a job that requires traveling approximately 60 days a year).
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
You will be reporting to Jimmy Ek, Manager of Sales – Nordics. As of today, Jimmy has a team of open, driven, and strong salespeople in different roles. You will work with the whole sales organization in the Nordics, including Key Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Technical Trainers. In addition to sales, you will also work closely with marketing - always ensuring that partners in our region are getting the right attention and are properly covered.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Axis is looking for a self-driven and energetic team player, with the ability to develop and maintain important relationships with customers in our market. The right candidate has strong analytical communications skills, with experience in external negotiation and contact. We believe that success in this position is linked to a proven track record of sales in the channel, preferably targeted to distributors and resellers.
This role can be based in one of our offices located in Lund, Stockholm, Finland, Denmark, or Norway.
Apart from this, we’d love to see that you have/are:
- 4 years of experience in Sales, preferably within a channel (distributor/reseller)
- Fluent in English and either Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish, written and spoken.
- A communicator with high interpersonal skills
- A proactive individual who possesses the ability to prioritize and create efficiency
Bonus points for…
- Language skills in other Scandinavian languages
- Experience in the Security Industry
